When should I hire a designer?
Hiring a designer can be important to many projects! Any time you are making a change to a space, like a renovation or remodel, a design professional can help. We're here to help you curate your aesthetic through material boards, visualize the new space with 3D renderings, and document the decisions in construction-ready drawings.
What happens at the initial design meeting?
Our first meeting can be in person, on video, or over the phone. We will have a conversation about what you're looking for and what your budget is to make sure expectations are clear on both ends. If you have a clear vision, feel free to guide the conversation! Not sure exactly what you want? That's okay too! I'll have questions prepared to help guide the conversation.
What does the design process look like?
The design process varies depending on the project. In our first meeting we'll determine our goals and, shortly after, I'll get you a timeline with milestones. For example, milestones might include the gathering of information about your existing space, presentation of preliminary design options, selection of fixtures and finishes, and the creation of contract documents. I will be sure to discuss your project's customized process with you before we get started!
